The Philippine **Annual Aviator’s Ball** (hosted by PIHABF) has recognized those people who exemplify the highest standards of flying and service or have made outstanding contributions to Philippine air transportation system and the people they serve. This awards program is a cooperative effort between the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and Philippine aviation industry stakeholders.

Airworks Aviation Academy chief flight instructor Capt. Joseph Perez, has been selected as the **“Flight Instructor of the Year**” -General Aviation Category (awarded last February 11, 2015)**.**  Perez has been flight instructor since 2005 and already gained 3832 total flying time (as of 2014).

Here are the rest of the winners:

·         Captain Joseph Gerard Perez won the Flight Instructor of the Year – General Aviation category

·         Major Gerald Escalante won the Flight Instructor of the Year’s  Military category

·         Captain Manuel Foronda won the Outstanding Aviator Service Award

·         Atty. Antonio Gonzales won the Outstanding Aviator Service Award

·         Captain Roland Narciso, the Philippine Airline pilot of Shepherd One, won Airline Pilot of the Year

·         Hirotsugu “Tomi-san” Tomioka of Japan and Richard Ong Soon Lee of Malaysia won Aviator of the Year Awards
