As part of Airworks Aviation’s mission in providing world-class pilot training and understanding customer requirements better, the team visited the prestigious Garuda Indonesia Training Center in Jakarta, Indonesia last June 11, 2015.

We were really impressed with the facilities and the standard of training at Garuda. The learnings we got from this visit will certainly help Airworks Aviation enhance our own training programs to meet the requirements of the new generation Indonesian cadet pilots and make them airline-ready as Indonesia embarks on a huge expansion in their aviation sector both internationally and domestically.

Garuda Indonesia is the flag carrier of Indonesia. It currently flies to 76 destinations worldwide and to various exotic locations across Indonesia. With more than 600 daily flight schedules and currently operates a fleet of more than 130 aircraft. The company develop a comprehensive training program for its air and ground crews and established a dedicated training facility in West Jakarta, named the Garuda Indonesia Training Center.
